On 31 March 2010, fast female driver Amber Anderson along with Nathan Pretty, Scott Bargwanna, Jonny Reid and David Sera tested a Kelly Racing Commodore VE Supercar at Winton Raceway.
Amber was excited and pleased to be selected to participate in the Kelly Racing Evaluation Day in a fully-fledged V8 Supercar ”it’s an awesome car and certainly whet my appetite for more time in a V8 Supercar- my goal now is to get more miles under my belt and concentrate on getting a start in the 2010 V8 Fujitsu Development Series Races”.
“I’m really grateful to Todd Kelly for making this opportunity possible and to the Kelly Racing Team for making me feel so welcome on the day”.
In the meantime, Amber will continue to fulfil her role as official driver of the V8 Supercars Pedders Safety Car in 2010- heading over to the Hamilton race in New Zealand this week next and using her time in the car to wisely to learn tracks and become familiar with the inner workings of V8 Supercars “this is just such an exciting time for me and I’m seizing every opportunity that I can at the moment, I just need a little bit more funding to help me get there- but I certainly won’t be giving up anytime soon- Watch out boys!”.

With the Bathurst 12 Hour rapidly approaching, it only took a five minute phone call from Amber to her 2007 Bathurst 12-Hour team mate, Danielle Argiro, to see if she was interested in joining up again for a couple of Production Car enduro events.
Amber Anderson was as busy on the track as she was off, last weekend, at Sandown International Raceway, where she competed in a record field of Porsche 944 Challenge race cars.
